State of the art training
Chemeketa Community College is pleased to offer the area’s finest and centrally located Regional Training Center for your use. While the Regional Training Center specializes in public safety, our state of the art campus is available to all groups, organizations and employers. Our rooms can be configured to suit your event with any combination of tables and chairs.
Our on site amenities include: four state of the art classrooms, professional catering, coffee / tea bar, audio visual equipment, wireless internet, and a fully enclosed 8,000 square foot indoor demonstration arena with a sim city.
The outdoor facility includes a drill tower. The drill tower has a four story commercial side which includes standpipes and plumbing for imitation smoke. In addition the drill tower has a two story residential side which is ideal for ConSim training and search and rescue. On the first floor of the drill tower a state of the art burn room is located. We offer an extensive range of conference facilities
Plan to hold your next Conference, Workshop, Seminar or Business Meeting at the Regional Training Center. Conveniently located in the Mid-Willamette Valley, easy freeway access (exit 263 off of I-5), with ample on site parking. Our facility has hosted agencies such as: Rotary, Oregon Fire Equipment Apparatus Mechanics Association, Oregon Department of Forestry, Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Training, Medical Vendor Show, Upper Level Management and Leadership Training, and the Military. For your event we can provide the following services: audio visual equipment and support, wireless internet, plenty of tables and chairs, full service catering and beverage services. Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services will certainly enjoy training at the Brooks Regional Training Center. Our state of the art facility includes indoor and outdoor areas suited for all types of Emergency Services training. One of the center’s most popular accommodations is the 8,000 sq. ft. indoor demonstration arena. Our law enforcement customers often use this area for: ConSim Training, High Risk Vehicle Stops and Defensive Tactics. The arena is equipped with a two story Sim City that is used for: building searches, hostage negotiations training, and patient rescues. Fire agencies find the outdoor drill grounds which include a burn tower, technical rescue tower, confined spaces and LPG props to be realistic and challenging. Emergency Medical Service Providers often use the low speed driving course that includes a 4-way lighted intersection for EVOC. We offer a wide variety of special events to select from
The Regional Training Center has 3 large classrooms (can be creatively configured), 2 smaller rooms and one spacious indoor arena. Our facility has ample on site parking; we can accommodate large vehicles such as fire trucks, semi-trucks and buses. We have hosted a variety of special events, i.e.: Graduation Parties, Retirement Parties, Baby Showers, Family Reunions, Life Celebrations, Fundraisers, and Pet Shows. To ensure a successful event our facility can provide the following: event planning, audio visual equipment and support, access to full service catering, on site beverage services available (coffee, tea, cocoa, ice water, soda), plenty of tables, chairs and linens (upon request).
